Formatting your computer is not easy, but it is necessary. Many people experience slow browser speeds due to spyware, viruses, or settings issues. Before you begin, please know that formatting will result in the loss of all your files, including photos, programs, and documents. You have to start over, which can be a hassle. You will need:

1. Reinstallation disk for previous operating system (Windows XP..) 2.
2. You can reinstall any programs you normally use with the CD  . 3. Computer drivers: These can usually be found on the manufacturer's website.  4. Back up all your important files. 

 

Steps to follow:

 

1.

Insert the Windows XP

 disc

and turn on or restart the computer .

After the setup program automatically copies the drivers, you will be prompted to install Windows XP on your computer. Press ‘ Enter ‘ to confirm .

. Accept the license agreement by pressing the F8 button .

  

 

4. The next screen will ask you to click on the hard drive to install

the Windows XP

operating system . We recommend that you completely delete the first option in the list (partition1). To do this, select the item and then press the 'D ' button. Then press 'L' to confirm partition removal is complete.

Now the screen will show ‘Unpartitioned space ___MB’. Use the arrow keys to select a partition and press the 'C' button to create a hard disk partition. The next screen allows you to resize the partition. Select and press 'Enter' to continue.

Use the arrow keys to click on the ‘ C ’ partition. This time you will see brief details and size in MB. To install Windows XP , press the ‘ Enter’ button .

  

 

 

  

7. 

On the next screen, select your preferred file system for formatting your hard disk. We recommend that you select 'NTFS file system (fast)' to avoid waiting too long. Then press the 'Enter' button.

. The installer has now been formatted and your files and settings will be restored later.

  

 

9. 

After copying the files, your computer will automatically restart.

10  . Restart to complete and Windows XP Setup will begin automatically.
